Wearable and connected devices require compact, reliable power sources that can operate independently of batteries or external supply. PRECIFLEX set out to engineer a self-contained microgenerator system capable of storing and delivering energy on demand - combining high yield, mechanical durability, and flat form factor.
Leveraging its expertise in micromechanics, electromechanics, adhesives, and surface treatment, PRECIFLEX developed a 4.5 × 2.5 × 9 mm module delivering 10 mW nominal power at 5 VRMS. The team optimized mechanical energy storage, yield efficiency, and tailor-made interfaces in a very thin system to ensure seamless integration into various devices, while maintaining exceptional reliability and service life.
The resulting stand-alone module transforms mechanical motion into usable electrical energy - enabling new design freedoms such as embedded lighting or electrical actuation. Compact, robust, and efficient, it exemplifies PRECIFLEX’s ability to turn precision engineering into differentiating brand features.
